slow government

"For those receiving paper checks, the last paper checks, covering people with Social Security final digits from 88 to 99 will be in the mail by July 11 under the current schedule. The IRS estimates that about two-thirds of the payments will be paper checks and one-third will be direct deposits."

Not that I'm expecting much back mind you, but I do fall into this group. Too bad I'll be in Japan already. So much for US economic stimulus.

Checks
There is a section of the IRS site where it'll give you an estimate of just how much you'll see in your rebate.There has to be a way to get it to you. Right?

well, im just going to forward mail to J's apt and hope for the best. in the meantime, still no refund from the NY State gov. they owe me over $200. grrr

Economic Stimulus Checks
Lisa, I'm sure you phased out of this program, single and AGI of $75k = no check. :(

ME too!
yes :( I read that in the mailer thing that went out. Not very stimulating, especially for urban dweller...75K is not really that much in NYC! It's expensive here!
