computers are very distracting things. I used to wonder why my dad spent all his time in his workroom tinkering, and now i understand. granted, he never did web stuff. He builds computers and experiments with synthesizers. (We own a MOOG for godsake!) My Mom never understood it either and still doesn't. I feel badly for her because she watched me get sucked into technology like my father: technology she cannot understand and only knows about my what she sees on TV (ie- the "bad" internet)

My Mom misses me a great deal. I wish she would come NYC. I know she wont. and my dad...NO WAY.
