(no subject)

i have a lot of email from wonderful people that i need to answer. i am sorry it is taking me forever. i just returned home from my day at the ASPCA to some warm udon noodle soup and edamame. Im sipping some chai and thinking about a nap. or a movie. we watched "M" last night. I believe it's Fritz Lang's first movie with sound. Awesome. Silence and sound. The old debate on whether an insane murderer should be killed or rehabilitated. It's been over 100 years and still no clear answer. gotta love conscience. I think james rented it, thinking it was going to be an old "horror" flick. Rented really means checked out. Since we are on a VERY tight budget, we go to the Brooklyn Public library and check out movies. Pretty good selection for a library, I think. We also "rented" Gods and Monsters, With a Friend like Harry, Barton Fink, and the Green Room. Unfortunately, the branch down the street from us is never open when im home. No worries though. James has a stack of books I need to go through first.

Snowy sunny and cold. A beautiful day altogether. People are nice and quiet in the building. No dogs barking. No children screaming.
