it's becoming easier to speak effectively at meetings. i never realized how unprepared I was for biz school when I first attempted application at age 22. I thought I was ready. Experience does matter. Im thinking about all this after a conducting a meeting this morning with a tank storage company. I really don't think I could have handled it with the proper professional attitude 2 years ago. perhaps it's all in my head, considering we have so many insecurities and thoughts that the outside world doesnt pick up on. but, in general, the meeting skills thing is a small epiphany.
