rrrg! why the hell won't my I-movie export videos anymore!!? What's the use of this piece of shit computer if I can't even make my bad videos? sigh. the CD slot is broken too. Been that way for a year, but it's not like I can haul this imac on the train into the city to go to overpriced Tekserve. I dunno. Im going to mess around with the proggie when I get back from my Shiatsu session. Im at home now, briefly, after going back to the eye doc to talk about why contacts are not helping me see my inner Native American. I have a new prescription for focus dailys, so im wearing a pair today to find out if the vision is a reality.

You could get the cd-rom drive replaced for relatively cheap... 15-25 dollars probably. It could be a simply matter of swapping them out. Though I wonder if the cd-rom itself is the problem or the cable going TO the cd-rom...

could try downloading the latest drivers and seeing if that has any effect...

Re: drivers?
the cd drive is IN the imac. no cables involved. And it seems like the mechanism itself is broken. It wont even suck in the disc. Would drivers help that?

Re: drivers?
no, drivers won't help that, you need a new one. which Mac do you have? I might be able to find something for you(since your birthday is coming up, and all)
