I have created a "massage room" in the small room next to the bedroom. I moved out all the computers and filing cabinets into the empty room next to the kitchen. I want to put up some sort of curtain in the walkway between the bedroom and the massage room for a feeling of complete separation. At the moment, all that haunts the space is a massage table. There's not room for much else, but I might put in some wallshelves on which I could put the massage gel, folded linens and some candles to take away the cat stink. I also need some prints. I was checking out www.shag.com, a site which Stacy mentioned on her LJ. I was toying the idea of buying the Muse prints (set of 3). But I feel like that's too much extravagent spending at this point in my life. The nice thing about the massage room is there's a door separating the massage room and bedroom from the rest of the apt. That means I can keep it pretty cat-free, except when I feel like letting them in. I, of course, do not want cats jumping up on and chewing holes in the table.
Im much less stressed out at this point, and have time to think about my place, who I am, and what I want to wear...yes all those meanless little things which I am finding out is a luxury to have time to think about. The rest of my finals (Except 1) consist of practical exams, aka massage. So, there's no book studying..just some practicing, and focus during the exams. I have one more written quiz, next wednesday, in A&P II, and then the final for that class is 8/14. There's a lot of info yet to cram into my brain, but at least I only have to focus on 1 class in this way instead of 2 or 3. I have a hard time juggling.
So, in the meantime, I am doing well at avoiding J. Crew's "Final Sale" Not that I love all J. Crew, but sometimes they have some nice sweaters. And I need a few. I picked up a nice turtle neck red sweater online 2 weeks ago for $9.99. That's what Im talkin about.
So, anyway, Im going to go look at panels for the bedroom/massage room walkway.
