Pots and Pans

Does anyone know anything about pots and pans? I need to replace a few pieces. Farberware vs Calphalon vs stainless steel. ? I dont want to spend a fortune. I know how to use Pam and how to soak a messy pan. A little sticking is ok, is what Im trying to say. Amazon is having a little sale, so that's why Im asking.
