im eating peanutbutter toast, cause that's all dave has in his apt. okay, well, theres some popcorn, pasta and REALLY old sauce, some cream cheese and chips. he just called me to tell me that he's still at the hospital. he had overnite call last night from 8pm - 8am, and ive been wondering why he's not home yet. visibility outside is 0 miles, according to the NY times. Dave says he left and couldnt even see the first stoplight. Being cautious, he returned to the hospital. Now his car is stuck in the lot and there is noone there to help him push it out. so, he's taking a shower and finding a bed to sleep in until the storm stops. He's really pissed off and hung up on me. Ah, the tantrumy BF strikes again. I told his to just go to sleep and when he wakes up, the storm should be over. meanwhile, im trapped in his apt with not much to eat. thankfully, the heat is going and there are a couple of netflix to see me through until the olympics start up around 3pm, or whatever. Kinda of a waste of a day, but whatcha gonna to do? I brought dave a rose home from work last night with some chocolates (V-day massage BS that the spa came up with), but its starting to wilt. oh well. At least I dont have to try to make it into work today. The owners called up last night to tell us to stay home cause there were so many cancellations. I cant even see the next building. and the Hudson river flowing just near the terrace? might as well not exist.

they're saying on the nat'l. news that you (nyc) got a record 27 inches. remember to eat lots of fruit and hot soup. have fun making snow angels!

working for twelve hours, being up all night, and being stuck at work has that effect on some people. how bizarre.

I read that this is the largest snowfall since 1947! LOL! I bet it's pretty, but I'm glad I'm not there. It's 38 here!!!! N. Fl. might get some snowflakes!
