Whenever I drink too much coffee, the corners of my mouth crack and hurt. I hardly ever have regular coffee. It’s always decaf, so it must be something else in the coffee that causes me to dehydrate, or whatever it is that happens. I dunno, but I’ve smothered the right side with lip medex to numb it a little. Who knew that a tiny little crack could hurt so much?

Paper cuts hurt the worst too! Scotch does that to my brother.

yeah, paper cuts are awful! that nice slicing feeling. or manila folder cuts, between the thumb and index finger. ugh.

so if scotch does that to your brother, maybe it is dehydration. i hope to never wander lost in the desert. or the dessert.

coffee
Lisa....try some low-acid coffee beans. Most coffee is on the acidic side and that could very well be the cause of the cracked skin. Good luck.
