The BEST white bread EVER.

Ironically, Adam and Suzanna were searching around for a good bread recipe..and here i had it all along, in a "biofolder" that was supposed to be posted last season! ;)
well, here it is finally, for the masses. Lots of people have been asking me to post up all the directions for my good lookin cookin. So, here's one of my fave's~~~~~

Innocent Indulgence Bread

2 pkg. active dry yeast
3/4 cups warm water (105 - 115 deg)
2 2/3 cups warm water
1/4 c sugar
1 Tablespoon salt
3 Tablespoon shortening
9 to 10 cups all-purpose flour
soft butter or margerine

Disolve yeast in 3/4 cup water. Stir in the 2 2/3 cup water, sugar, salt, shortening and 5 cups of the flour. Beat until smooth. Mix in enough reamining flour to make dough easy to handle. Turn dough onto lightly floured board, knead until smooth and elastic, about 1 minute. Place in greased bowl and turn greased side up. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double, about 1 hour (dough is ready if impression remains) Punch down dough and divide in half. Roll each half into rectangle about 18 x 9 inch and roll up beginning at short side. With side of hand press each
end to seal and fold ends under loaf. Place seam side down in greased loaf pan (9x5x3) Brush loaves lightly with butter. Cover and let rise till double, about 1 hour maybe more. Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Place loaves on low rock so that tops of pans are in center of the oven. Pans should not touch each other or sides of oven. Bake 30 to 35
minutes or until golden brown and loaves sound hollow when tapped. Remove from pans. Brush loaves with soft butter and cool on wire rack.
